誰でも知っている"listen to"はもちろん、"listen in"と"listen for"も取り上げられました。

勉強になります(^^)

それでは英語トークの書き取りです。

クリス
Hey Roza, I think we should make a doll of Onishi Sensei.

ろーざ

That is a very bad idea.

クリス

ろーざ
Hey, that's not a bad idea.

クリス
Well, if you say so.



◆ボキャブラリー（8：05）

大西先生
What is the nuance of "on" here?

ろーざ
I'll ??? you handle that, Chris?

クリス
First of all, its "listen in", so you have to enter the area where the conversation is taking place.
And then you want to stay, don't you?
So it's like a platform and you sit on the platform and the platform is the conversation.



珍しくろーざさんのパートが聞き取れませんでした。

？のところは「ゼイ」みたいな音が聞こえたんですが、"they"のわけはないし…。

"handle that"のところも、"hand of that"かもしれません。



◆和文英訳1（10：24）

大西先生
By the way, is it possible to use "made", "I just made" here?

ろーざ
It is possible, but it means more of the melody like, for example, on your computer.
Whereas "wrote" refers to the lyrics.

クリス
That's right.



◆和文英訳2（13：48）

大西先生
"Postman" is British English, right?

クリス
Yeah, that's the word was using in U.K.
How about America?

ろーざ
I think American English "mailman" is more common.

クリス
Yeah, I heard of that.



◆エンディング（14：30）

大西先生
My son never listens to me.

ろーざ
I don't blame him.
I don't want to listen to you, either.

クリス
Sorry, what did you say?
